 I have a hard time getting into most foreign hip hop
They might be insanely good, but the accents just make me laugh. I heard some Scottish rap today and all I could concentrate on was how hilarious they sounded. Sorry, I know this is terribly American of me. Anyone else have the same problem?

Yeah, I feel like most Americans do. I've had to review 3 Australian albums for RapReviews and the first one was both by far the corniest and the first Aussie album I'd heard so it was hard to critique objectively. I've since found some stuff that's easier on the ears but it's certainly not something I'm eager to listen to in my car or something v_v this is the best MC I've heard [this is my first time seeing him: v_v] www.youtube.com/watch?v=lFOFiOdRnzw nice beat selection and flow makes the accent fairly tolerable, at least for me

Word to Khuntz, nuttin is happenin' now in the UK for hip hop, but few years back some artists were killin it. Roots Manuva ;_; Japan got a load of dope producers n DJ's too... Quote:

I hear you sonson. Well I listen to some French and Haitian rappers... I've given an ear to more than a few UK rappers, though the accent and some of their beats can be a little off putting for me at times...
